Word of the Chairman

The Architectural Engineering degree program at King Abdulaziz University in Rabigh is designed to prepare graduates with the required knowledge and the skills necessary to succeed in the field as an Architectural Engineers.

The AE’s program was created in response to, and with the cooperation of, industry leaders. The vision was to develop a program that would provide essential skills needed for success in the industry. The goal is to graduate an Architectural Engineers who is ready for the workplace, needing no on-the-job training following graduation. The needs of the industry are constantly incorporated into the AE’s curriculum.

The college of engineering at KAU in Rabigh region strives to prepare innovative leaders who can solve challenges presented by today’s global business environment. The objectives of the AE program are closely aligned with this vision. We give each student a practical understanding of engineering, business and leadership fundamentals, coupled with a complete working knowledge of building design, whole system thinking, construction methods, and sustainability allowing them to make prudent and timely judgments in managing design process.

I am confident that when students graduate from this program, they are well prepared to take a leadership role in the building industry and begin their path to a successful and rewarding career.
